What are your rates?
Rates vary depending on the services provided and availability. Please email us with as many details as possible of your planned recording and we will give you a custom quote.
Do you charge taxes?
Yes. All businesses must charge tax on the services and products they provide. We charge 5% GST on studio time and services, and 5% GST plus 8% PST on all supplies (e.g. CDRs, DVD-Rs, reels of tape, etc.)
How do I book a session?
To book a session, call us at 416-461-4224 or email us to let us know when you would like to come in, and be prepared to pay a deposit. We can accept credit card numbers over the phone. Always give the studio enough notice and information for us to plan our schedules and ensure that the time you want is available.
What are your methods of payment?
We accept cash, Interac debit cards, Mastercard and Visa. Certified or registered cheques are also acceptable, or personal cheques with proper ID. Unless previously arranged, all sessions are considered C.O.D. and the remainder of the balance is due upon completion of the session, before the release of any tapes, masters, ref cds or other materials. 2% interest per month will be charged on accounts that are more than 30 days past due.
What if I need to cancel a session?
Cherry Beach sound must receive notice of your intent to cancel a session no later than 72 hours (3 days) before the session. Any deposit paid by the client for the session may be applied by Cherry Beach Sound in partial satisfaction of this liability. The full amount of unused time booked will be charged, irrespective of client's failure to arrive for a session on time or in the event that the client must leave the session early, or if the session is completed before the booked time has expired.
How do I book a rehearsal room?
Pro Rehearsal and Backline manages and maintains equipped jam rooms in Cherry Beach Rehearsal Studios. To book or inquire about jam rooms, contact Pro Rehearsal directly at 416-693-1816. For long-term or large scale rental or lease of space, contact Cherry Beach Rehearsal Studios at 416-461-4224.
